Our customer was also concerned about the upcoming retirement of the copper phone network.
SES Computers approached this issue via a project to move every customer location onto our 3CX cloud phone system whilst virtualizing every local phone number and routing through rented SIP trunks. The 3CX system is scalable and feature rich, meeting the requirements for unified comms and operational needs.
Issues with maintenance of end of life equipment, difficult management and up-to-date features are now resolved. Instead of being limited to a system locked into a single manufacturer, 3CX allows the company to pick hardware from a range of manufacturers; desk phone, mobile and PC soft-phone setups.
The result is a fully converged modern phone system that empowers the customer to deploy setups from a very wide range of types and hardware.
The client now enjoys the use of a phone system that is essentially company-wide, connecting every office and home into one system that works through the extent broadband connections. New DDI numbers can be issued for any area code and with any CLI required in a matter of minutes.
The sales and recruitment departments now enjoy the ability to select precisely which CLI the user wishes to display, with an available number for every area code in the UK.
